Great piece of gear that holds a ton of tippet.Well built and sturdy.
Excellent product. I carry lots more tippet and I like Seaguar which is excellent quality for less $$ and I can load so much that I don’t worry about running out. The line cutter design is excellent
This is a very well put together book. Very good for the beginner fly tier to the experienced tier
The concept and materials are great but the actual application is frustrating, allow me to explain. First depending on the diameter of your winding **** on the reel the grip can be difficult to get started on the **** and finally my biggest complaint is once you get it on the **** and pushed back as far towards the reel as possible the grip moves on its own away from the reel. The grip does have a hole to vent any trapped air but if the **** on your reel has any shape other than a straight flat surface the grip wants to slide off the **** and into the belly or depression of the ****. My only solution to stop this would be to glue it to the handle and out of fear of the grip trapping water inside and causing potential damage I’m not willing to do this so for now I’m not using any of the grips I’ve purchased because all my reels have a shaped handle.
"UPDATE" The owners reached out to me about my issue and together we figured out that the handle on the reel MUST be clean and after some thought I realized that I probably had sunscreen and many years of fishing gunk so a little 90% rubbing alcohol fixed my issue and it works great. I'm buying more for all my reels!! THanks guys for your concern and help!!

We certainly would like to figure out why you are having issues and would love for you to send us an image via our contact page of the handle style you are trying to apply this to. As we try to clearly mention on our site, our current Grip-Ease versions are made only or the 2 handle styles shown. We have tested these on many handles shapes, including those with bellies. They are a bit tricky to get on (they need to be a tight fit) which is why we mention in the instructions a little bit of soap and water would make the application a bit easier. We would be happy to discuss this further with you as we do not want you unhappy or frustrated with one of our products and we appreciate your feedback.

Great little product. I didn't know if the "arms" would be flexible enough to make inserting a rod quick and easy but still stiff enough to hold the rod in place. No issues at all...seems perfect.
Oh, the rod pod also works great as a grip or stand when attached to the back of a phone.
I really like this low profile rod holder, they are perfect for fly rods of different sizes, and works great with Ultra Light to Medium Heavy gear rods. It works well to hold your rod on an angle while runny line through your guides, especially with longer rods and Spey rods. It's a strong magnetic when it connects to a vehicle and no concerns with the rods getting blown off the vehicle especially when you place the pod to the right height based on the rod height.
This has worked out great for my Bass fishing chest pack. I usually only use 3 tippet sizes (1X, 2X, and 3X) and it holds an amazing amount. It transitions well when fly fishing for Strippers too.

Fit on my fishpond head gate after some persuasion. It was a bit tight to get it over the end of the spindle at first
I blood knotted additional tippet to an initial length of 10 yards of the tippet size as an indicator that I need to reload that size
Absolutely love the Tippet Tender. The loaded version is awesome and what I really like is it is so compact. I will need to get another blank one that I will load with Fluorocarbon. Very well built with rugged heavy duty plastic.
This is flat out the best way to carry tippets Saves so much space and the ease of us makes this a must have item
I've used many different methods and products to store my tippet while fishing and this one is, by far, the best one I've found. The product quality is outstanding and I know it will last a long time. The built in cutter is a great feature and enables me to prepare a tippet segment quickly and efficiently.
A couple of observations: 1) the plastic material used is very dense and relatively heavy so you'll need a retractor that is strong enough to keep the tippet tender fully retracted when it's not in use, and 2) the video showing how to load the tippet tender with a drill is not great. It doesn't show how to use the starter holes or how to use different sizes of tippet loading spools to prevent a massive birdnest if you don't do it right. I've been told, however, that a new video is in the works so this should be resolved soon.
Summary - I'm super happy with the way the product functions on the river and I'd highly recommend the Tippet Tender.

Or just your tippet system loaded with two or three flies ready to tie on to your tip it ring fast
No longer tying on a fly at a time You tie on your entire terminal tackle One shot I got to get more of those

Great product. I like buying tippet in bulk. But 200 yard spools can take up a lot of room in your set up. With the tippet tender. You can have five sizes of tippet that takes up less room than two 200 yard spools.
I'm super tired of carrying around huge spools of fluro so this is perfect. I have it loaded up with 2x-5x. It could even use more sections for future models. Also purchased the reloading arbor, but it didn't fit my smaller drill. Customer service was excellent and made me a custom part. Excited to try that once it arrives. Keeping going Free Motus! I love slimming down all the gear I carry to the water.
