Commonly Asked Questions

What is the order proccessing time?

For Motus Studio Products, these are made to order and considered custom so the lead time can range from 2-6 weeks and may vary, depending on the degree of labor intensity and material availability. Please note, wood type may be substituted at our discretion for it is driven by availability so images shown may not be exactly the same. You will be notified before the project begins.

For Training Straps, Please give us approximately 24-48 hours to process your order.

What is the status of my order?

You will receive a confirmation email that includes the tracking number once the package has shipped.

What is your Return Policy?

We have a 15-day return policy on non-custom orders, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

***PLEASE NOTE: ITEMS IN THE 'FRAME COLLECTION' AND 'FRAMED ARTWORK COLLECTION' (ALL FREE MOTUS STUDIO ITEMS) ARE MADE TO ORDER SO THEY ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND CONSIDERED CUSTOM.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@FreeMotus.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 5698 W Dannon Way; Suite #2  West Jordan, Utah 84081

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return RMA#, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as Free Motus Studio items, special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

What shipping options do you have?

We offer a variety of choices from both USPS and UPS (Please don't forget to include the processing time in your expected time of arrival).

Can I make changes to an order I already placed?

We try to fill orders and get them shipped as soon as we possibly can so unfortunately, we cannot make changes once an order has been placed.

For Motus Studio items, these are custom and because of the longer lead times, we will order material as soon as an order is received, there is a very small window of time to change an order.

Do you allow order pick-up?

If you prefer, you can make an appointment for pick up to eliminate the shipping cost.

For all Motus Frame items, The packaging fee (see below) will still be charged to make sure your purchase is protected during transport. If you would like to choose this option, please CONTACT US BEFORE placing your order.

*Because of the high quality of our frames we want to make sure that they get to you safe and in perfect condition. For this reason, they are packaged in high quality art containers that can range from $100-$220 (depends on size of frame) in addition to the shipping.

Who is Free Motus?

We are a small, family owned business who loves adventure and outdoor active lifestyles.

Do you offer digital gift cards?

Yes we do! Just click on shop in the main menu and you will see them listed there.

Are gift cards returnable and do they expire?

No, they are non-returnable and are a final purchase. (Please be sure to read the product information listed and confirm you add the correct email information.)

And yes, they do expire 5 years from the time of purchase.
