I really like this low profile rod holder, they are perfect for fly rods of different sizes, and works great with Ultra Light to Medium Heavy gear rods. It works well to hold your rod on an angle while runny line through your guides, especially with longer rods and Spey rods. It's a strong magnetic when it connects to a vehicle and no concerns with the rods getting blown off the vehicle especially when you place the pod to the right height based on the rod height.

Freemotos makes high quality items and stand by them. When they released the Tippet Tender, the quality of the elastic cloth had issues with the metal guide holes started to pop out. I noticed it after a few uses, but did not know Freemotos was not happy with the strap quality. I found out when they proactively sent out two sets of replacement straps since I bought two Tippet Tenders a a couple of months back. That is awesome that they did that.

This has worked out great for my Bass fishing chest pack. I usually only use 3 tippet sizes (1X, 2X, and 3X) and it holds an amazing amount. It transitions well when fly fishing for Strippers too.

I blood knotted additional tippet to an initial length of 10 yards of the tippet size as an indicator that I need to reload that size

Absolutely love the Tippet Tender. The loaded version is awesome and what I really like is it is so compact. I will need to get another blank one that I will load with Fluorocarbon. Very well built with rugged heavy duty plastic.

These are a game changer on the Water. I am a still Water fly fishing junky. The tenders make it very convenient on a kick boat to change my leader and tippet on the boat. Great customer service and a valuable product for fishing.

This is flat out the best way to carry tippets Saves so much space and the ease of us makes this a must have item

I purchased both the leader keeper and the tippet dispenser. They both are high quality and easy to use. I wish there was some indication on the tippet dispenser to identify the size of the line. I was having trouble remembering so I took paint markers and wrote on the tippet dispenser to keep things straight. Other than that one small upgrade it's been perfect!!

I've used many different methods and products to store my tippet while fishing and this one is, by far, the best one I've found. The product quality is outstanding and I know it will last a long time. The built in cutter is a great feature and enables me to prepare a tippet segment quickly and efficiently.

A couple of observations: 1) the plastic material used is very dense and relatively heavy so you'll need a retractor that is strong enough to keep the tippet tender fully retracted when it's not in use, and 2) the video showing how to load the tippet tender with a drill is not great. It doesn't show how to use the starter holes or how to use different sizes of tippet loading spools to prevent a massive birdnest if you don't do it right. I've been told, however, that a new video is in the works so this should be resolved soon.

Summary - I'm super happy with the way the product functions on the river and I'd highly recommend the Tippet Tender.

I havent tried it yet but will be doing do soon. Took it to my fishing club meeting and lots of people took the name.

It is a paradigm shift for loading a full leader action (butt section, sighter, dropper to tip fly ) tying only one knot

Or just your tippet system loaded with two or three flies ready to tie on to your tip it ring fast

No longer tying on a fly at a time You tie on your entire terminal tackle One shot I got to get more of those
